Effective with 2013, trucks the Ram folks have incorporated our exclusive Geno's Garage cupholder into the center section of the fold down section of the 40/20/40 front seat. Their execution of the idea is spot-on, it is a very nice, three position, cupholder.However, can their holder be improved?
Yes! Introducing the 'Double Cup' Cupholder.
Think about all of the loose items you have bumping around in your truck. Where better to keep these items than at your fingertips? Remember, folks, it is a truck and trucks get used. The 'Double Cup' Cupholder is a great accessory for all kinds of storage.
To develop the Double Cup-Cupholder we took a '94-'97 holder and cut the backside off. We trimmed the contour to fit the inner edge of the existing console. Some more trim here and there; four holes for some self tapping Phillips head screws and it was ready for production. After using the Double Cup-Cupholder for a week you can forget about having to reach down to the floorboard/center hump to find your stuff, it is right at your fingertips.
NOTE: Will not work on 2013-2023 trucks without factory console cupholder. Can be used in manual transmission trucks if you're easy with the shifter.
NOTE: Not recommend for use on trucks equipped with a floor mount 4X4 shifter.
Will not work on 2019 and newer Ram 1500 DT series trucks.
Will work on 2013 to 2024 Ram 4500/5500 trucks with fold down console with built in cup holders.

Everything is great. Holds big deep cups and easy to install. One issue. One rectangular hole needs to be deeper to hold a cell phone. I put a block of foam in one rectangular hole so my phone will sit in the hole upright. Even though the phone fits the rectangular hole it falls out since it is not deep enough. I hate using a cup slot to hold my cell phone.

Cup holder works, but is a little overpriced for the plastic you get. Holder rubs the driver's seat. So be careful if you buy and move the center arm rest a lot. The cup holder handle cut outs are oddly positioned. If is not likely to work with a cup that has a lower sitting handle. Sticks out a bit, center dash storage bin strikes the cup holder. It does give you extra cup holders but looks a little odd.
