Description
Admittedly we did not know diddly about shock absorbers. Oh sure, they control vehicle compression and rebound, but that's about as technical as we could discuss. What do you do when you don't know diddly? How about some research. Our first move was to gather for evaluation some trusted name brands. With a list of names in hand, we called old pros and racers in the automotive and truck business. The one name that kept coming up for quality at reasonable price was Bilstein.
NOTE: Part numbers are the same for either 2500 or 3500 applications.
NOTE: This shock will not work on trucks sold as only a Cab/Chassis combination.
NOTE: Bilstein Shock Absorbers are sold as individual units. If you need a pair of shocks, increase the quanitity desired to 2.

I have two Dodge 3500 dually's so this
is the second set of Bilstein shocks that I have purchased. If it wasn't for having one in eight fail I would have given five stars.

I replaced a tired set of Monroe Gas Magnums. I am very happy with the results/performance

The techs at Genos know their products and how they improve your ride. I wish they were in Alaska, but promptly got me what I needed. Keep up the good work.

How Do I Change the Shocks on My Dodge Ram truck?
TDR Issue 75 (pgs.15-16)
"At a technical seminar hosted by Geno's Garage and presented by Bilstein sales manager Scott MacDonald, I became aware of certain signs indicating that after 60,000 miles in a 2006 two wheel drive 3500 dually, the shock absorbers should be replaced.
