Description

Transmission fluid temperature is the single biggest contributing factor to the lifespan of your automatic transmission. Having an accurate, realtime measurement allows you to know when to downshift or when to take your foot out of it. Whether you're towing or simply trying to harness the power of a built or boosted motor, AutoMeter's Phantom Series Transmission Temperature Gauge will give you the most accurate possible measurement for the exact temp of your trans fluid. A single wire 1/8" NPT temperature sender included to be installed in your transmission or transmission pan.

Gauge has a black bezel, white face, black lettering and an orange indicator.

Transmission Temperature Gauge Review

Installation of this temperature gauge in the left door pillar required modification of the retaining bracket. The bracket was to big to fit into the molded area for the gauge. I needed to cut off one of the retaining arms. Other than that minor issue installation was fine. The gauge seems to be working very well. I have verified the gauge reading using my temperature infrared gun
