Description
Interference in the throttle position sensor circuits (APPS) on Dodge Cummins engines from '94-'04 will create false voltage readings in the APPS/TPS circuit and cause the lock-up torque converter to rapidly cycle on and off as you drive.This part is a quick and easy fix that removes the RF interference.

I bought this part as a preventative add-on. After I ended up installing it, I noticed my O.D. seemed to stay in fourth gear longer and not drop to 3rd as much.

My truck would shift out of OD in a specific rpm and would actually drop out into a lower gear
and then shift back up all in the neighborhoodof 1500
RPM almost every time I drove it.After this install I am pleased to say that the problem has been resolved. I even noticed my cruise control operation has become more seamless.Great price for a quick fix or at least a good place to start if you're experiencing the same issue.
