Description

This Cummins front cover crank seal includes seal and wear sleeve.

Note: This seal is larger than the OEM seal. If you ever need to change the seal after installing this repair sleeve, you will need to order this seal again. Not the original part number.

This kit includes oil seal 3922598, wear sleeve 3922599 and install tool 3922600. Unfortunately, these items cannot be sold separately. If the seal ever needs to be replaced, it is recommend to replace the wear sleeve as well.

When installing the KDP modification to my Y2K 24V 5.9, my truck required the wear sleeve seal... I was surprised it needed the repair sleeve since over 24 years I have meticulously maintained my truck. It currently has 225K on the clock... So my advise is to be proactive and chose the repair sleeve when your cover is removed. You probably have a wear spot on your crank too.
