Description
Increase the storage capacity of the center console and help avoid messy liquid spills in the interior of your '98-'02 Dodge Ram with our handy cup holder. It is installed in minutes to the existing console.The cup holder for the Dodge truck is form fitted to the inside diameters of the console and is designed so it does not interfere with shifting in trucks with a manual transmission.
Cup wells are 4" deep. Upper diameter: 3-3/4". Lower diameter: 2-3/4". Has slot for coffee mug handle. The side pocket is the perfect dimension to hold your cell phone and/or wallet.
Using the velcro strip included with the cup holder, it attaches to the inside of the console. Once installed you will find that the thickness of the cup holder does not allow the console lid to latch properly, but this can be easily fixed. (See note below.)
NOTE: The latch closure in the '98-'02 trucks can be adjusted by turning the metal shaft extending from the base of the console counter-clockwise to increase the height. Instructions are included with the Cup Smoothie.
NOTE: Will not work in '02 1500 trucks. These trucks need the '03-'12 cup holder as the 1500 trucks were introduced one year prior to the 2500/3500 trucks.

'02 Dodge/Cummins 4x4 ... 5speed. Where do you put your coffee cup? Floor cup holder is useless .... hold it between your knees? Not a good idea. This Geno's cup holder is great. Handy, close, reasonably priced, installs easily .... enjoy your coffee on your trip! 5 star

Works great!! Installs easily and fits great. Had to adjust the latch a bit to get the console lid to close but no big deal, mine was tight so used vice grips to turn it. Have not installed any screws yet as I have not seen the need, only have the included velcro at this time, if I see the need for screws after putting a big cup in there I will put screws then. Works great and does not get in the way of the gear shifter.

Got tired of hitting bumps and my damn drinks crashing everywhere, Hopped on Genos garage and placed my order. Installed the new cup holder and not only does it make your 2nd gen automatically 15 times More luxurious than before, but mine came with a free cummins sticker, fortunately I think everyone around me knows it's a cummins but I've heard that sticker gives you 100 more horsepower as soon as it hits the back glass. My tow pig didn't need all that but It's definitely a badass gesture, also While your sitting in your truck Enjoying your new extra deep, extra Rolls Royce Feeling cup holder if your hungry and want a delicious snack, the Bag of Genos Garage popcorn that came free with my 40 Oz natty light holder is a delicious, movie theater style pop in the microwave goodness. all in all after the sticker and the popcorn I would highly recommend getting this cup holder. not only does it benefit the driver, but it also Pulls the ladies when they look through the window and see that your serious about your liquid holders

I was somewhat worried that there would be some issues with clearance with my 6 speed truck but I've been pleasantly surprised. I have a "Cummins power" shift knob that also came from Geno's, and have no clearance issues at all.

Works great even with my 6 speed. With larger mugs/cups it sometimes is easier to shift if you put your mug/cup in the passenger side cup holder.

I had been thinking about building something like this cup holder for years, the factory in the dash version has always left something to be desired. Then it broke (wouldn't have anything to do with my over size coffee cups I am sure) and my son who is also a connoisseur of these 2nd gen dodge rams told me about this cup holder from Geno's. I figured I should give it a shot rather than spending time fabricating something that would never be as finished in appearance as this one is.
I am very happy with this cup holder. even holds my oversize coffee cups and water bottles. 5 stars for sure

Works Great. Just as described. Installed in minutes. I added a couple extra screws just cause. The ONLY complaint is the cell phone cup is very shallow for todays newer cell phones, and a hole in the bottom for the charge cord would be great too. Just nit picking there. Overall will definitely tell others to buy.

I have a 1996 manual transmission dodge, wanted the offset cupholder design. Slight modification was necessary. The latch relief cutout fits the1996 latch area, but the inner boxes need to be cut off. The offset cup holders works much better for my 1996 stick shift than the other cup holder being sold for the 1996

This cup holder setup is great and it holds 2 huge drinks and 2 phones no problem, very sturdy. Everything I was looking for in a functional cup holder for this truck. I do wish the back of the console was closed in, resting against the center console. Also it would be sweet if it said Geno's in between the cup holders instead of the manufacturing mark, but the cup holder itself works great. Recommended upgrade

This was such a nice upgrade for the Interior, no more reaching down towards the floor to get a drink. I have a 1999 5 Speed and it does not get in the way at all of the shifter.
