Your Rattle & Squeak Eliminator kit contains 24" of Adhesive Backed Felt Padding and (2) alcohol prep pads. For years manufactures have utilized this identical product on the assembly of interiors and more so today then ever before with all the plastic snap together pieces.You can cut and glue in place, wedge in place and even double up the felt when needed, but by placing between two contact points the felt absorbs vibration and empty space, snugging the fitment of the parts while allowing for expansion and contraction. So if you are installing a dashboard, dash bezel, gauge pod, A-pillar, reassembling from a recent repair or chasing down a longtime annoyance, strategically placing felt between any contact points, bolts, screws or plugs will help keep things quiet inside your truck.
