I have not purchased this, but wish I had. After following the dealer instructions that the "nut" was 1&1/8", it became stripped on the second filter replacement--both were torqued to the specified newton/meter . Dealership wholesale: $87, after 15minutes of debating, got retail at $70. Would have rather purchased this once, vice the drive (35 miles each way) and haggle with the dealership.

This cover is great, you can't miss where the filter is now when looking in the engine bay! But I did have to move my tranny cooling lines so it didn't rub.

This cap works great. I had previously striped the stock cap by using a 1 1/8 socket instead of the 28mm. I'm still not sure why it was so tight. Anyway even though it was more than I wanted I went ahead with the billet cap. It worked perfectly and I'm sure my next filter change will be easy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is price.

This cap is a nice upgrade from the oem plastic. My only issue was that at 22ft lbs the cap leaked. Called the guys at Genos who were excellent as always. I was told to hand tighten only. So after 3 times at 22ft lbs it leaked. Hand tight is the way to go. Just run it down till it stops and leave it alone.

Just replaced my fuel filter under hood, this new billet cap looks awesome, installs easy and ensures an easier replacement next service time. No more rounded 28mm plastic crapnut. Definitely worth the money. Great product
