Description
Replacement battery cable sets from Mopar can be very expensive and we've received many requests for high quality but more reasonably priced battery cables. We found them!
These heavy-duty Dodge Ram replacement cable kits are made from 2/0 ("two-aught") cable for the starter and engine block grounds. The tin-plated copper terminals are crimped with a 12-ton hydraulic crimper and are then sealed with adhesive-lined shrink wrap to help prevent corrosion from the battery's acidic fumes.
Cables are shipped with anti-corrosion battery washers and military-style battery terminals with "Nylox" style lock nuts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These cables (BAT-DDG25KIT) are not an exact drop-in/bolt-on replacement. They will require that you splice leads into the existing wiring. Cables are shipped with connector and heat shrink to complete the splice. Information regarding this process is in a downloadable PDF under the Install and Tech Information tab above.
Battery Cable Kit Includes:
- Positive 2/0 battery-to-battery
- Positive 2/0 battery-to-starter
- Left negative with 3 wires
- Right negative with 2 wires
- Splice wire and splice kit
- 2 Positive and 2 Negative military-style battery terminals
- 4 Lock nuts
- 2 Sets of terminal protector washers
- Loom
- 5 mountable and 5 normal zip ties

I was SO happy to find this product before I spent my money on other parts. This saved me a lot of shop time, guess work and money. Thank you Geno's Garage for making this available. The install is pretty straight forward. I highly recommend. I'm proud how this looks under the hood. Even my installation job looks like a pro did it. If you are contemplating purchase, just BUY IT! You'll be glad you did and you won't have to battle the corrosion that is inherit of the OEM junk.

After 3 tows to 2 different shops, my Dodge was still randomly not starting. One weekend with the parts from Geno's and this Grandma got her truck back on the road. YAY!!!! Oh, enjoyed the candy, also! Thanks

Very happy with these battery cables. Tired of the stock connections causing problems and frustration. Have owned my 1999 2500 since 2013. Have gone through 2 sets of batteries since then. Everytime the stock connections got worse and worse to handle and tighen but were crimped on the cables so you need to replace the whole thing. Recieving these well labeled, seperated cables were a easy install. Definitely a recommended upgrade for anyone wanting to improve the quality of their second gen cummins.

I will start my review off by saying Geno's shipping once again exceeded expectations. The product was shipped same day and arrived very quickly. Prior to ordering I had some technical questions about the cables. Geno's staff was open and honest stating that they did not have the answers but quickly gave me the contact information for the manufacturer. A 3-5 minute informational call later and I had all the data I was looking for. Upon inspecting the cables, terminals, and hardware, they all seem to be a quality product and a major improvement over my 18 year old cables. I never leave reviews but after purchasing multiple items from Genos in the past and getting another quality product, I can only say that the staff and products I have received have always been top notch. Thanks Geno's. You have earned a long term customer.
