DIFFERENTIAL ACTUATOR - DORMAN ('94-'02, 4WD - 5.9L)

Put this actuator on my truck and worked great. If your trucks 4wd light doesnt come on it means that the diaphram isnt moving the shift fork to activate the switch.( if 4wd doesnt engage) if it does it is possibly the switch.Check for vacuum at the diaphram and that it switches for each line. If all is well ( good vacuum and it switches suction between 2wd and 4wd selection) its almost gauranteed its the actuator. Mine was rusty and the shaft could not slide freely. It would partially go in and the light would flash sometimes. Installed this and it fixed my problem. Hope this helps anybody troubleshoot this. Josh
