NOTE:This is stock temperature thermostat for '98.5 to '09 and '13-'24 trucks. The alternate temperature thermostat is 180° (#33956).

Original t-stat was sticking partially open causing long warm up times.
Pulled the old one out, dropped the new one in, truck comes up to temperature quickly.

My truck had been running hot so I bought a thermostat from the auto parts store. That didn't seem to help much so I bought this one from Genos. Now my truck runs much cooler, right where it should be! Don't go cheap, get the right part!

Purchased only because I was replacing hoses and radiator. If I could give it zero stars I would. Truck ran hotter, it wouldn't open until 200 degrees. Fortunately had old thermostat (which was made in USA, not Israel like this part) and wouldn't you know it? Truck ran at a consistent 192 on the digital gauge just like it used to!

Worked great for about 6 months. Will be purchasing oem cummins one this time around, dont make the same mistake I did.
