The Gates Micro-V K081264HD heavy-duty serpentine belt for your '03-'12 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel truck is designed using advanced manufacturing technology and provides superior performance. For trucks with air-conditioning.With this belt you get:

While the belt is off for replacement, give the belt tensioner pulley a spin and listen for bearing noises. A squealing belt can be a sign that the belt tensioner is failing and causing belt misalignment.
Belt Education 101: The Gates HD Option
Why should you spend $4 to $10 more for the Gates Heavy-Duty belt and what is the difference?
Answer: Because it says "HD." Seriously, it is a pain in the torque-wrench to change a belt and anything at a small price premium to prolong the maintenance interval is better, right?
Here's the pitch: Unrealized by the typical truck owner, Gates accessory belts are made with a synthetic rubber call EPDM. They wear much slower than previous generation belts that were made from actual rubber. The HD belts have an advanced blend of EPDM to better withstand deterioration from exposure to ozone and water-based coolants.
The HD belts are built specifically for diesel engines with their higher shock loads. They have stronger internal cording strength than the standard belts. Life expectancy for the HD belt is 10 to 20% better than the standard belt.
BE SYSTEM SMART
The best way to prevent belt failure is to Be System Smart and think I60 & R90. Inspect the serpentine system at 60K miles and replace worn components by 90K miles or as advised by the manufacturer.

I replaced the belt and the tenchioner in my 05 Cummins. The squeaking is gone. Total install time took me a little over an hour

I have had 3 Cummins from 96 to 04.5 to now 2010 and I always replace this belt. Genos has always had it all for my Cummins. great prices wish they had free shipping but they gotta make money to. this belt is Heavy duty great brand and I trust Genos. Thanks.

Wow what a pain it took of over an hour with the serpentine belt tool set to get it put back on. Definitely will pay someone next time to install it for us. The Heavy Dury belt itself is great and we will be upgrading to the same belt for our 2008 when it's time to be replaced.

Noisy Belt

I replaced a Dayco belt with this one that was working fine and quietly, but was several years old. From the beginning the Gates belt would squeak when I shut off the truck. After a couple a months it developed a high pitch squeak when pulling my 10,000Lbs trailer. I thought maybe the tensioner needed replacement, so I did, no change. I ended up putting my old Dayco back on the truck and problem went away. I have been a fan of Gates products, but this belt let me down. I will be ordering a new Dayco.
