Description
The metal cup design of the Lisle 61580 End Cap Filter Wrench allows easy filter removal and installation from the end of the filter, even in tight locations. Use with 3/8" square drive ratchet.Ratchet not included.
NOTE: Match the fluted end of the oil filter with the filter wrench to ensure you have the proper wrench size. Designed to fit 93mm diameter filters with 15 flutes (LF3972 , LF16035 & Mopar 5083285AA).
NOTE: Due to clearance issues on some older trucks, we recommend this to be used on 2003 and newer Ram trucks.

The end cap filter wrench fits very fightly. If there is dirt on the outside of the filter. it will be difficult to remove. On the other hand, in such a confined location, it will remove the filter before it strips off the filter leaving it impossible to remove.

This wrench saved the day! Who ever did the last oil change cranked the filter on super tight. Using the wrench with an extension & ratchet, I was easily able to remove the old filter.
