Pan fit with no problems

Very high quality. Much more heavy duty than OE. Drain plug is going to make it nice when it comes time for tranny service. Comes with fiber gasket, filter and hex head stainless bolts to replace on parts. I still used the oem re-useable gasket and saved the fiber gasket as a just in case part. Everything sealed up right when torqued to specs, zero leaks. Great quality part.

This is an extremely high quality product and I am very pleased with my purchase. I considered going "cheap" on a trans pan with a drain plug but after purchasing a Dorman steel pan with drain plug for another vehicle which I could not get the drain plug to stop leaking I learned my lesson- you get what you pay for. The pan is a beautifully machined and finished part- it is almost a shame that it is hidden under the truck. Even stainless steel the hex head cap screws and washers provided with the pan are top quality. I utilized the pan gasket supplied by Mag-Hytec and torqued the bolts to the required 12-16 ft lbs. and had no leaks. Trust this gasket as the supplier says it is optimized for a good seal between two aluminium surfaces. I hear other guys saying that they want a thicker cork gasket and the supplier says that this works with the stock (steel) pan against the aluminum body of the transmission but is not the best solution for use with this pan. Also, Geno's supplies a Mopar branded trans filter with the pan so you don't have to bother buying one separately. I also put a Mag-Hytec diff cover on my truck and it too is a superior product.
