DIFFERENTIAL COVER - MAG-HYTEC - FRONT ('03-'12, 3500 & '03-'13, 2500 14-9.25)

Description

The Mag-Hytec AA14-9.25 front differential cover for the '03-'12, 3500 and '03-'13, 2500 Dodge Ram features increased lubricant and cooling capacity.

It is fitted with:

• Magnetic drain plug
• 1/8 NPT temperature sender fitting
• Lube reference plug
• Magnetic dipstick for checking fluid level and condition

Dipstick, drain, and reference plugs are MS 33649 and fitted with AS 568 O-rings, as is the cover gasket, which requires no sealant or gasket.

The Mag-Hytec differential cover is cast in A356T6 aluminum and it is texture/powder coated in black with contrasting machined cooling fins. All hardware is stainless steel.

This differential cover increases fluid capacity from approximately 5 pints to 9 pints (4.5 qts).

NOTE: Does not require tie-rod removal for installation on '03-'13 trucks.

IMPORTANT NOTE Effective July 2012, Mag-Hytec redesigned the cover to alleviate interference with the trackbar and steering damper. However, it is possible that modifications will have to be made to the U-bolt bracket or to the cover itself for clearance issues. It is important to pay very close attention to detail before and during installation.

Once the cover has been installed or modified to work it cannot be returned.
