The new style plug uses a larger size Allen, should work better for removal. If the torque spec is followed I don't think there would be any problem removing it. Best advice-do not over tighten!

Love the fact that they made the hex key larger,. even though these only use 29in/lbs of torque they like to get stuck and I have broken a couple of the older smaller allen keys but the new size is definitely better.
