Description

Your truck's hood insulation liner is there to help absorb engine noise, and to insulate against heat transfer to the hood. Over time, the liner will stain, snag and tear, diminishing the overall appearance of the engine compartment, but more importantly, reducing the hood liner's effectiveness for noise and heat reduction.

Replace your truck's worn out hood liner with this direct replacement hood insulation liner. We've had it designed and cut just right, specifically to fit your 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 (also fits 1994-2001 Dodge 1500). Its fiberglass matte-faced material is ½" thick and is similar in density and thickness to the OE molded version.

For a quick and simple installation, we include 17 new secure mounting clips to replace the OE clips.

Applications: 1994-2002 Dodge 2500/3500 1994-2001 Dodge 1500

Insulation liner

I have had my '01 truck for 14 years now and it never had a hood insulation liner. But it looked like a good idea. I clicked on "buy now." Liner fits well. All the hole punch outs for hold on clips lined up. The cut out for the under hood light did not line up. Simply moved the light over one pre punched hole in hood and everything is good. Took longer to walk to my tool box for the wrench than move the light. Here is the best part. It makes my truck sound so much better! Takes the higher pitched "ping" out of the diesel. Lowers the tone, and truck sounds much better! Thanks

Good for the price

Bought this to replace the OEM liner on my 2001 ram. The fit was very good and all the holes lined up nearly perfect. My only real complaints are that it wasn't molded like oem to follow the contour of the hood. More importantly the outer black material is very fragile and rips way to easy. Even with that, it was a very good value.

Seems like low quality compared to OEM

The OEM hood insulation was finally falling apart from the intense engine fan wind generated under the hood. This replacement insulation is thin, lightweight and clearly not as strong as the OEM insulation. It fits but I'm going to be surprised if it lasts more than 5000 miles before it too is ripped apart by the engine fan wind. We shall see...
Owner Response:Thank you for your review. We have been selling this under hood liner for over 2 years. At this moment, I am not aware of any customers that have experienced issues with this liner falling apart.
