This service kit includes the filters and enough RTV for one transmission service interval.

RTV sealant serves an a fine substitute for a gasket, and in most Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel trucks with the 68RFE transmission came from the factory with the transmission pan sealed with RTV instead of a gasket.

The Permatex Ultra Grey we include with this kit is specified for high torque and high vibration applications, including tranmission pans, valve covers, water pumps, intake manifold end seals, and thermostat housings. It's a formula that is OEM-specified to fit dealership warranty requirements and meets performance specs of OE silicone gaskets.
