Description
With greater frequency we have listened as customers would ask for manual locking front hubs for their Dodge Ram truck. The primary benefit of the SpynTec hubs are reduced wear on the front drivetrain: the axle shafts and corresponding differential gearing are disengaged. Other benefits: fuel economy thanks to the elimination of 150-pounds of rotating mass, universal joint wear is all but eliminated and the bearing are serviceable whereas the OEM bearings are not.
All SpynTec™ Industries hubs start out as steel forgings and not castings like other manufacturers. Hubs are turned and sent off to the gear cutter for the internal splines and the gear cut external ABS tone rings. The hubs are finally bright zinc plated for a durable finish.
Spindle forgings are rough turned, heat treated, then final machined. This is the only way to guarantee a spindle with minimal run-out.
And rather than sending you a box of parts, SpynTec™ Industries partially assembles every kit. When your kit arrives, the studs and races are pressed in the hubs, spindle bearings are installed in the spindles, and axle slingers are installed on the axle shafts.
The SpynTec kit for your '00-'08 Ram 2500/3500 SRW truck includes:
- Forged hubs with gear cut ABS tone ring.
- Forged spindles with integral ABS sensor mount.
- Includes all bearings, races , seals, and spindle nuts.
- Premium locking hubs.
- Wheel Studs
- 35-Spline Stub Shafts
- Installation Directions
NOTE: If you are running aftermarket wheels or aluminum wheels, the wheels center bore needs to have a minimum 4.224" bore to accommodate the hubs.
NOTE: We are not able to ship this product outside of the United States. No international shipping is available.

I bought this from Geno's over a year ago when my front right bearings started making noise. Yes, its spendy but I couldn't stand the thought of having to replace the factory style sealed bearings again in the future. I also did ball joints, u joints, and brake pads when everything was apart. Truck now turns a little tighter, rolls smoother, and I may have picked up one mpg. Hardest part of the job was separating the axle from the steering flange.
Great product

What a difference these hubs make. Installation is pretty basic, If you go to the Spyntec website you can get Warn hubs for 100 dollars more. Just FYI.
I wish I had put these on my 06, Love them on my 07

Very well designed product. Everything fit together nicely. The direction include part numbers for any off the shelf items for future replacement if needed. Customer service at Spyntec was excellent when I had to order another spindle nut. Fast shipping also. The direction are good for people that are mechanically inclined. Hubs operate really smooth. Geno's should put a note in the description about requesting Warn hubs if you want to. I don't see anything wrong with the included hubs that would make me want to spend 100 dollars more. Great product, I am glad they were also recommended by Geno's
exellent

06 Dodge Ram 2500 Spyntec Hubs

A must for all Dodge Ram owners who have the Unit Bearing Hubs, while your at it replace the U-Joints with the Non Greasable Spicer U-Joints and Replace your upper and lower ball joints with HD Ball Joints while your at it. Synergy, EMF, Dynatrac, Carli all make quality ball joints for our Dodges. Do it right, do it once and be done with it. Yes it will be expensive but your truck is an investment. Spend the money and make it last.

Rattle
Sep 29, 2022 | By Jeff
Well I have had them on my 2007 2500 Megacab for almost 2 years now. The only thing I don't like about them is I have been trying to track down a rattle and finally found out that the locking hubs are loose in the hubs. You can move both of them with your hand.
Owner Response:Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. This is not something that has been brought to our attention in the many years we have sold these locking hubs. I would suggest reaching out to Spyntec and discussing this with them. You can reach them at 234-759-3105
