I installed this kit on my 1996 CTD 4x4. The heat had ruined the grease boots on the OEM links and the grease dried out. Although it -seemed- like there was still tension on the OEM links, the front end felt loose.
I thought I needed a new steering gear but decided to try the Suspension Maxx links first. The improvement was astounding and at a fair price.
