Description
Fleece Performance SureFlo® performance fuel tank module and fuel level sending unit, for 1991.5-1997 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks with Cummins Turbo Diesel engines.
This SureFlo® performance sending unit is designed to work with stock and aftermarket lift pumps and fits directly into your stock sending unit location. It features factory-style quick disconnects to adapt your stock fuel lines at the tank, giving you the cleanest installation available, and requiring no cutting or drilling of the tank similar to OE.
SureFlo® works by drawing fuel from, and returning fuel to, the bucket assembly at the base of the unit. This ensures you are always drawing fuel into your pump and not drawing air into the fuel system as well as eliminates the dreaded ¼ tank problems. The SureFlo® bucket also incorporates one way check valves to allow fuel to easily flow in at lower levels.
This SureFlo® performance sending unit is also a great alternative for trucks originally equipped without an in tank pump needing to repair a malfunctioning level sender or if you are simply looking to run your own custom fuel lines directly to the tank.
*** ATTN: 1991.5 DODGE 250/350 TRUCK OWNERS - PLEASE READ! ***
Before ordering, please be sure to inspect your stock fuel module and compare yours to the last image shown above (above with other product images). We have seen some 1991.5 trucks with the earlier style module from the factory. If your stock fuel module is held into place with a large plastic cap then this is the correct part to order. However, if it is secured at the top by a metal clamp, then yours is the earlier-style module and this is NOT the part to order. (Sorry, we do not yet have a source for a replacement for the earlier style but we're working on it). This information is only if your truck is a 1991.5 model year.
