Description

The condenser guard for '94-'02 Dodge Ram trucks is black powdercoated and has a U-shaped upper lip that slips over the top of the condenser to protect the top condenser fins. This U-shaped design also makes the installation as easy as slip over and fasten in place with nylon tie wraps.

24" x 24" nylon mesh bug screen included with your condenser guard order.

Simple to install and worth every penny. My condenser had so many dents and crushed fins because of my careless feet kicking it while i would be working on the motor. It took me a while with a small flat head screwdriver and a pick to get the fins as close to the way they where supposed to be before I installed it. If your condenser is still looking good, get this guard on there now so you don't have to worry about it and spend the time fixing it. Worth every penny and the bug screen it comes with keeps all the critters out of it as well.

The idea is great but the first 3 inches of the condenser are blocked and there's a good half inch of forward and backwards play. It could have been a better fit. I think some bent metal at the bottom that "snaps" it in place would have been better and more secure. Also some tab on the sides to secure the zip ties to the cylinders would have been a good idea too, even if it meant paying a little more. I'm gonna keep it just because it's the only thing in the market currently.
Owner Response:Thank you for your review. All of your points are valid, but there is one issue that keeps us from developing this product this way. We have found that aftermarket condenser companies, and even some original Mopar condenser through the 1994-2002-year range have different dimensions on all fronts that make this impossible. The Mopar condenser used for development of this product did not have any cooling rows at the covered portion, so it was left solid metal. Over the many years of offering this product, it has never been brought to our attention, or noticed in our own trucks that this is keeping the condenser from functioning properly even on the hottest of Georgia summer days.
