Description

FLEETGUARD LF16035 StrataPore premium oil filter for '89-'24 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel with either the Cummins 5.9L or 6.7L engine. Specially designed for extended service environments.

The synthetic media in the LF16035 is engineered to remove finer particles while still maintaining good oil flow and it has the capacity to hold more dirt than paper/cellulose media due to the smaller cross-sectional area of the media fibers. Your Cummins-equipped Dodge truck cost more than a gas engine truck so get more value out of it by keeping it running a lot longer with this filter.

Attended a TDR Factory Tour several years ago. Several technical sessions discussed filter construction. The Cummins Filiters were an obvious choise as compared to aftermarket brands. The way the pleats were supported and end plate strength all made sense regarding durability and true filtering capacity. I have used nothing but this filter since buying the truck and have not had any issues with oil pressure, leaks, or contamination.

The quality of the filter is not directly proportional to the price. The filter is of great quality and it was as cheap as I can find. I was also happy to buy this filter because Fleetguard is what Cummins uses from the factory and I like that aspect of it. Plus I got a free Cummins Sticker, can't beat that!

I have a 2014 ram 3500 with over 531,000 miles in counting. I change my oil round or about every 10,000miles. Using this oil filter I did notice at 4000-5000 miles, the oil still looks fresh out the bottle. I recommend these filters to anyone. Nice work fleetguard and nice work geno for getting these products to me in a timely manner.

I had a HS driver tell me he's been using these for a few hundred thousand miles. That's all I needed to hear. I do think the oil seems to stay a little more clear on the dipstick for longer relative to my old filter. Always used Rotella T6 5W-40 if it matters
