Hawk's Super-Duty Ferro-Carbon material is engineered for 2019-2024 Ram 2500 & 3500 trucks used in professional fleets (greater than 1 ton) and light trucks towing excessive payloads.

Hawk splits no hairs about these pads and what you should expect... they're the most aggressive compound offered, and should only be used on fleet or tow rigs. The caveat/tradeoff for the enhanced performance is that these pads will be VERY noisy, especially when cold. I used CRC Brake Quite on the back of the pads, used new hardware, greased the slides, and replaced the rotors when I installed these pads. I also followed the brake in procedure directions from Hawk to a T. I still get squeaks and squeals when I first take off after sitting for an hour or more. It does go away after a few solid stops, and in the 6 months/15k miles that I've had these the noise level has reduced significantly over that time.
For my use case, it's absolutely worth the annoyance, but for most folks I'm betting they'd be happier with Hawk's "high performance" tier pads or similar from another manufacturer.
